Isaiah 6:1-8
1) Sin doesn’t keep God from us; sin keeps us from the Lord. God continually pursues us, even in our sinfulness.
2) How we move from “woe to me” vs.5 to “here I am” vs.8 is the removal of sin. This begins with confession of sin as part of our repentance.
1 John 5:1-2:2
3) If we confess our sins God will forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Proverbs 28:13
4) When we confess our sin we are pushing back against darkness. When we confess our sins, we are saying I trust God more than anything else!
